We've been on/are on hiatus for a little while. Kits are still available, and we'll always have support available, but we're figuring out where to go next, if to go on at all. More details on the blog!

Is your kit not working?

We're really sorry, but there might be a resistor in your kit that needs replacing. Send us an e-mail, and we'll either send you the proper resistor for free, or send us your kit and we'll swap it out, and pay your postage. There's more details about what's wrong on the blog.

As of today, the OpenChord V1 is ready to rock. Instead of playing Guitar Hero or Rock Band with a controller that simply looks like a guitar, you can now play on the real deal – moving your fingers along the strings of a real guitar, making real chords. Which makes playing so, so much more rewarding.

I have a notion or two about replacing the strum bar. It would require replacing a hummbucker with a single coil pick up to free up a bit of spce but if it works all of the stings could actually register the strum.

how should I submit the idea?

yeah I just saw the email on the build/dev page. Ill flesh out the idea a bit and send it on too you.
